IT that guests remember for the right reasons

Guest Wi-Fi, networking and AV for hotels, resorts and restaurants across the GTA — built to handle full occupancy and to stay out of your reviews.

The challenge

In hospitality, the network is part of the guest experience

Guests expect Wi-Fi that just works, staff need reliable systems behind the desk, and payment data has to stay protected. When any of that slips, it shows up at the front desk and in your ratings. Hospitality networks also have to perform at full occupancy — the exact moment they’re most likely to be tested.

  • Guest Wi-Fi complaints that land in online reviews
  • Dead spots in end rooms, elevators and outdoor areas
  • Payment systems sharing a network with guest devices
  • AV and signage that’s clunky for events and conferences

The outcome

What changes for you

Wi-Fi that holds up at full occupancy
Fewer front-desk complaints and better review scores
A guest network safely separated from payments
Event and conference spaces that are easy to run

A typical deployment

How it comes together

A typical hospitality deployment starts with an RF site survey covering guest rooms, corridors, lobby and outdoor areas. We install PoE switching and access points, stand up the Surfsonix captive portal with PMS integration, segment guest traffic away from payment and back-office systems, and add conference-room AV and lobby signage where needed. Everything is tested at load and documented.

Standards & compliance

The requirements we design around

PCI DSS

If you take card payments, we separate the payment environment from guest and general traffic to reduce your PCI scope and protect cardholder data.

Guest privacy

Guest devices are isolated from one another and from your systems, in line with good-practice guest-network hygiene.

Note: we deliver the technical controls that support these standards. Formal certification and legal compliance remain your organisation’s responsibility — we’re glad to work alongside your compliance advisors.

FAQ

Hospitality IT — your questions

Will the Wi-Fi hold up when we’re fully booked?

That’s exactly what we design for. We size access points and backhaul for full occupancy and use per-guest bandwidth management so no single device can degrade a floor. The site survey establishes the real device density before we spec anything.

Can guests log in with their room details?

Yes. The Surfsonix captive portal integrates with your PMS so guests log in with room number and name, and access ends at checkout. Paid and event tiers are supported too.

How do you keep our payment systems safe?

By segmenting the network so payment traffic never shares space with guest or general devices. This is central to PCI scope reduction and to keeping cardholder data protected.

Do you cover conference and event spaces?

Yes — conference AV, wireless presentation, event Wi-Fi with dedicated bandwidth, and digital signage are all part of what we deliver for hospitality clients.
