Solution
Security built into the network, not bolted on after
Network segmentation, secure access and perimeter controls for GTA businesses. The practical protections that stop a compromised device from becoming a company-wide problem — designed in from the start.
The problem
A flat network means one breach reaches everything
On too many business networks, the guest Wi-Fi, the point-of-sale, the cameras and the finance PCs all share the same flat space. That means one infected laptop or one compromised IoT camera has a clear path to everything else. Segmentation and secure access are the unglamorous controls that contain a problem instead of letting it spread — and they cost far less than the incident they prevent.
- Guest, staff, payment and IoT traffic all on one flat network
- Default passwords and open management on cameras and devices
- No control over who reaches what, from where
- Remote access that’s convenient for staff — and for attackers
What we deliver
Concrete work, not a wish list.
The technology behind it
Layered, standards-based controls
We build security into the infrastructure using segmentation, secure access and perimeter controls from the EnGenius and broader stack we deploy. This isn’t fear-selling or a single magic appliance — it’s the layered, standards-based practice of keeping the wrong traffic away from the wrong systems, paired with monitoring so you can see what’s happening.

FAQ
Cybersecurity — your questions
What is network segmentation, in plain terms?
It’s dividing your network into separate zones — staff, guests, payments, cameras and IoT — so traffic can’t freely cross between them. If a guest device or a camera is compromised, segmentation keeps it from reaching your business systems. We explain it fully in our small-business segmentation guide.
Do we need this if we’re a small business?
Often more so — small businesses are targeted precisely because they’re assumed to be soft. The good news is that the core protections (segmentation, secure access, hardening) are affordable and effective. You don’t need an enterprise budget to close the obvious doors.
How does this relate to PCI compliance?
If you take card payments, keeping the payment environment separated from guest and general traffic is central to reducing PCI scope. We design that separation in — it protects cardholder data and simplifies your compliance.
Can staff still work remotely securely?
Yes. We set up secure remote access so your team can connect from anywhere without leaving an open door. Convenience and security aren’t opposites when it’s configured properly.
Is this a one-time setup or ongoing?
The architecture is set up once and then maintained. We pair it with monitoring so anomalies are flagged, and we revisit policy as your business changes. Security is a posture, not a purchase.
